What works in real rooms
Use Chalk & Paper or Game-Show Poster in light mode for washed-out projectors; Night Glow in dark mode looks best on bright screens in dim rooms. The theme menu in the header switches it.
Tap the wheel or the big Spin button. Put the board on the side of the room you stand on (Edit → Options → Board side) so you don't block the names.
Copy your wheel's share link, select a word or shape on the slide and choose Insert → Link. During the slideshow, click it to open the wheel with your list.
Add the share link as a hyperlink, or keep presentation mode open in a second window and switch with Alt+Tab. Microsoft 365 can also show web pages with a Web Viewer add-in, where allowed.
Every spin is picked with your browser's cryptographic random generator before the wheel moves, and slices are drawn to scale, so the class can see it's fair. With “no repeats”, a name leaves the wheel after it's called and comes back when you start a new round.
Names stay readable up to about 40. Bigger wheels show the name under the pointer in large type while the wheel spins, and the wheel page offers to split a long list into smaller wheels or make groups instead.
